Hi Joyce-

2nd cast from my new 760L that I just purchased from you. Largest fresh water bass I ever caught. Wanted to get him back in the water quickly, but we estimate 22”-23”. I used a unique bait my wife made for this guy- strip steak marinated in A-1 & parmesan cheese.

Vinnie - great to know that your More Tackle purchase paid off in a big way.  Congratulations ... and kudos for releasing her!!!

CATFISHIN' CUSTOMER

Although none of our products were in use to catch this beautiful catfish, it was sent to us by one of our newest customers out of Pennsylvania, Vennie.  He is totally into C.P.R. (catch, photograph, release) with all the freshwater and saltwater fish and critters that he catches.  We welcome Vennie to the More Tackle family and hope to establish a long and healthy friendship and business relationship.

To all our other customers, we would love to add your pictures to our blog.  please include a little story about it and let us know if you used any of our products for the catch.

UPDATES

We are going to restart with the updates on the blog.  It makes more sense to announce new additions to the More Tackle website on the blog then it does to send emails out to all our current and potential customers.  An email will go out to everyone announcing this change, along with adding this information to the website.

From now on, check on the blog to find out what new products have been added to the website, www.moretackle.com.  We will make the updates every time anything is added, no matter how many or how few.

Thank you for your understanding and your patronage.

Bulk Buying

Buying in bulk is not just for companies. Individual anglers should consider this if they fish a lot ... or if they have trouble finding what they want to use to fish with.

There are several advantages:

1) You save money per item when buying in bulk;

2) You are less likely to run out at a crucial time, such as right before a tournament or while on vacation somewhere remote;
3) You would have a good stock of an item you really like, knowing it will probably be discontinued and you may never be able to find it again.
That last reason is a biggie. Have you ever noticed that when you find something that you really like that, most likely, it gets discontinued? Usually right before you are ready to go out and buy a whole bunch of them. How does that happen? You liked it, so why didn't others? Well, others probably did, too ... just not enough to keep the manufacturer producing them.

That's where we come in. Once an item has been discontinued, retail brick and mortar stores try to clearance them. If they don't sell after a certain period of time, they pull those items from their shelves and sell them for pennies on the dollar to big clearance houses/wholesalers. We then put them for sale in our online outlet store, passing the savings on to the consumer that wished he had purchased more in the beginning - YOU!
Of course, you don't have to buy in bulk ... it's just an option. This was initially offered for dealers, etc. We also offer items individually so you can try it first, if you like. Just don't wait too long after trying something if you like it. Our supplies are limited and, in more instances than not, once they are gone, they gone for good.

Also, that is why it is a good idea to have your email address added to our mailing list so we can let you know what's been added to the site on a regular basis (right now, monthly ... as we grow it may turn into a weekly update). Send your email address to info@moretackle.com to be added.

Keep your line wet, your hook sharp, & your live well full,

Periodic Update

It's time for an update. August was surprisingly busy. We've had orders from all over the country, from Washington and Colorado to Florida and up to New York, Maryland, and Maine (19 states in all). I guess it's true when they say that good news travels fast.

I want to thank all of our new customers for their patience as we work out the kinks that every new business goes through. It's been a learning experience, to say the least.
We are trying to build up the quantity of products for you to choose from, but it takes a lot of time to add them to the site. Plus, we have so many to pick from that we could use your help in knowing what items you are looking for. So, if there is anything in particular that is a favorite of yours, or something you have been looking for, either on our site or others, please email us at info@moretackle.com and let us know what you would like to see available.
Below you will see most of the items that have been added this month. I say "most" because there were times that I forgot to add them to our newsletter draft, so there are more goodies than what is listed here. Guess you'll just have to look around to find all of them. Sorry about that!
